Donald M. duft

Don was an influential member of the Colorado patent community for many decades. Before passing, Don was of-counsel at the firm, and had been a registered patent attorney for over 50 years. In his time at Duft & Bornsen, PC, Don specialized in world-wide patent prosecution and handled a variety of technology agreements, trademark matters, copyright matters, and trade secret matters.

Prior to his work at Duft & Bornsen, PC, Don was the Manager of Intellectual Property Matters at AT&T/Bell Laboratories in Colorado. During his career with AT&T/Bell Labs, Don successfully prosecuted pioneering patents on such critical technologies as computers, memories, transistors, intelligent networks, and Internet systems. Don had also served as an examiner at the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office, and was an inventor with two issued U. S. patents.
